Bearsted Primary & Snowfields Academy
Project completion: September 2020
140 place ASD SEN secondary school co-located with a 2FE primary school with 26 place nursery.
Client - Free Schools Capital, Department for Education
Location - Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent
Budget - £18m
The challenge - Obtaining planning permission due to location and significant local opposition resulting in extensive consultation and project redesign to mitigate issues with transport concerns
Black Country & Marches, Institute of Technology
Project completion: August 2021
Black Country & Marches IoT curriculum specialising in advanced manufacturing, construction and medical engineering.
• Client - Post 16 Capital, Department for Education
• Location - Main project 4,750 m2 new build in Dudley with an outreach location in Telford
• Budget - Total project cost circa £20m including DfE grant funding of £17m
• The challenge - Understanding the procurement route as Dudley College utilised the Integrated Project Insurance (IPI) a Cabinet Office endorsed model
Lincolnshire Institute of Technology
Project completion: Due November 2021
Lincolnshire IoT dispersed across 8 Further and Higher Education institutions delivering engineering & manufacturing, digital & agriculture and environment & animal care.
• Client - Post 16 Capital, Department for Education
• Location - 8 projects across Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire
• Budget - Total project costs circa £22m including DfE grant funding of £15m - comprising 8 projects ranging in value from £210k - £9m from new build to refurbishment to specialist equipment only
• The challenge - Majority of projects delivered during Covid-19 pandemic and later projects were significantly impacted by national material and labour shortages

Project completion: September 2020
840 place 4FE Secondary School which opened in temporary accommodation in September 2016.
• Client - Free Schools Capital, Department for Education
• Location - Ealing, London
• Budget - £25m
• The challenge - Grade II Listed Buildings on a constrained site neighbouring residential properties on all sides
